Top Critics Reviews

The film is stuffed with noble intentions… But Banks’ vision of women-empowerment heaven plays more like a checklist of topics from the feminist discourse of the past few years than a coherent movie, let alone a crowd-pleasing one.

Inkoo Kang -- Slate (Top Critic)

Too much of the rest is standard-issue action fare, and when it comes to the twists, just assume any man is bad.

Johnny Oleksinski -- New York Post (Top Critic)

Does the fact that this unwanted update of the Charlie’s Angels franchise is less awful than expected make it worth seeing? Hardly. But at least director Elizabeth Banks and her woke angels make this salvage operation go down easy.

Peter Travers -- Rolling Stone (Top Critic)

Charlie’s AngelsMovie Reviews

It was fun to watch the movie. Spy agents always amuse the audience and if you have Angeles then it is something to get your boozes on. The movie is entertaining full of twists and turns but if you are a spy movie fan it will seem predictable. I miss the old flavor of angels where all the angles were equally trained and sexy. Here in this movie, the character is distributed among girls as beauty, tough and brain separately.
