And if my father were alive today he would be overjoyed too. He was one of the Best True Star Wars Fans I’ve every known. Ever since I was a child at the age of 7 my dad took me to see Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and we both enjoyed the movie Since then dad showed me The Original Trilogy Star Wars has changed my childhood and life forever Thank You dad. Since then we also saw the next movies through the years from “Attack Of The Clones” to “The Clone Wars (2008)” The Joy of Star Wars has never left us both and “No One Is Ever Really Gone”. Now This isn’t a Spoiler review If you love Star Wars I highly recommend this movie. It definitely delivers the joyful memories from the past to the present and the future. Each and every actor nailed their roles, The Effects are stunning and the Writers have written a wonderful script. A lot of these opinions are super negative and I respect that… but i think this is a fantastic Star Wars movie and the best of the Sequel Trilogy. I will complain that the first hour throws a lot of exposition and information at you which felt overwhelmingly fast. But the redemption of Ben Solo, the fantastically (and creepily) sinister Darth Sidious, the emotional but wholesome passing of Leia, the grand scale, the mysteries of Rey, the impeccable musical score by John Williams, and most importantly the heart that this movie bursts with were all important factors that made me love this movie. This movie answered my most burning questions and made me truly feel the character journey that Finn, Rey, and Poe went through. And most importantly, the message of hope that has been the theme of the last 2 trilogies rings louder than ever. I whole heartedly love this movie that so nicely puts to rest my most beloved childhood stories. Being in love with these movies since before I can remember and seeing the care and tenderness it went out with only makes me appreciate my passion for these stories more. I agree that it was far from a perfect film but I believe that this film truly was the culmination of a story lasting decades, one that had captivated generations and me especially. I highly recommend, this is the Star Wars I remember, people can over analyze it and call it cringey because they are entitled to their opinions, but this was the Sequel film that brought back the childhood joy that I remember feeling so long ago. Thank you George Lucas, JJ Abrams, and all the others that put their hearts and souls into these stories:) P.S. My entire theater was bursting with a lot of the love I had, there are a lot of people out there that share my thoughts. People constantly clapped, cheered, cried, and flat out expressed the emotion that we have for these movies. I hope you guys feel the same because we all share the same love for Star Wars:)Wil Powell -- Review By Google User
Just a shame, then, that [Rey’s] story should have so little emotional resonance, and that the Skywalker saga, with its 42 years of cinematic tradition, should end on such a charmless whimper.Kevin Maher -- Times (UK) Top Critic on Rotten Tomatoes
