Once word got out that the K-pop superstars were giving money to the campaign group, the ARMY fandom jumped into action and matched the donation dollar for dollar. “We stand in solidarity with black ARMY. They’re an important part of our family. And we stand with black people everywhere. Your voices deserve to be heard ” — the fundraisers said. It’s not the first time Korean (K-pop) fans have come to the support on Black Lives Matter.
BTS Officially tweeted after the death of George Floyd, wrote, ” We stand against racial discrimination. We condemn violence. You, I and we all have the right to be respected. We will stand together. “
