Due to the Coronavirus 21 days lockdown, everything is in lockdown, no transportation, no schools, colleges, theaters, nothing is opened. The major problem is that in the next Bollywood entertainment world five more movies are going to be released in April month Lootcase, Gulabo Sitabo, Lodu, Gunjan Saxena, Code Name Abdul. The important question is that will these films gonna be released theatrically? Will filmmakers and distributors take risk of releasing these films in lockdown?
Starring Kunal Khemu, Rasika Dugal film Lootcase, directed by Rajesh Krishnan is releasing officially on 10 April 2020 in theaters. But in India, 21 days lockdown is going on, almost till 15 April. We don’t know how many more days it will go. This will affect the gross income of the film.
Similarly starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ayushmann Khurrana comedy film Gulabo Sitabo, directed by Shoojit Sircar officially set to be released on 17 April, while three other more movies Ludo, Gunjan Saxena, and Code Name Abdul are set to be released on the date 24 April 2020.
Ludo film is directed by Anurag Basu, starring Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanya Malhotra, Pankaj Tripathi in the lead roles,
While Based on the life and war story of an Air force pilot Gunjan Saxena, film starring Janhvi Kapoor directed by Sharan Sharma all set to be released on the date 24 April on the same date.
One more movie Code Name Abdul will gonna be released on the same date. The film is starring Kajol’s sister Tanishaa Mukerji in the lead roles. All these three movies are set to be released on the same date 24 April.
Due to the lockdown, all of these movie release dates are in danger. If the filmmakers and distributors gonna release movies in a lockdown they know, they will surely get lots of loss in profit. So it is quite risky now to release them theatrically.
Well, let’s see what will happen in April month. Will the lockdown broke down? Will filmmakers ready to release the film in this month? What’s your opinion? Tell us in the comments below.
